Robotic savvy inventors and scientists will join an international event, which is sponsored by Google and RobotShop. The focus of the event is the creation of a robot which performs useful tasks and communicates with others by using WiFi and Cloud technology. The teams will start their work on Saturday and their finalized robots will be demonstrated and fine tuned on Sunday.
The public is invited to come observe, especially on Sunday when the robots will be more fully developed. Also on Sunday from 2 pm to 3 pm, The Field Library’s own youth FIRST Robotics team, The Peekskill Stars, will demonstrate their robots and the missions they achieved in the recent FIRST Lego League competition.
Be prepared to be amazed!
Observe anytime Saturday, March 3, from 10 am to 4:30 pm.
Demonstrations: Sunday, March 4, from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.
