On Saturday, dozens of children showed up for “Men Who Read.” They listened to some great stories, enjoyed juice and donut holes (yum!) and picked out lots of free books for their home libraries! Many thanks to Peekskill Reads for sponsoring the event, and especially Drew Claxton for organizing the program.  Thanks also to Sally Bentley and our volunteer readers, and to all those people in the community who donated books for the program.

This past Friday, The Field Library was full of bees & ladybugs, trains & TV characters, cats & cool cats, superheroes & super cute animals, and pirates, pigs & princesses!  Kids enjoyed stamping, craft making, and cookie decorating. They played with trains and our haunted doll house. And everyone left with a FREE book! What a happy Halloween!
