Yesterday, The American Library Association (ALA) announced the winners of the Youth Media Awards,  including the Caldecott, Newbery  and Coretta Scott King awards. To see a complete list of books, click on this press release from the ALA. Then come on in to The Field Library and start reading!

There’s a whole lot going on at The Field Library this week! 

On Monday (February 5) at 4 pm, everyone is invited to make a square for our Unity Quilt! The Quilt will remain on display for the month of February – to celebrate Black History Month. Quilt Alt

On Wednesday (February 7) at 11 am, babies and toddlers are invited to Book Babies, an interactive storytime with books, music and puppets. 

On Thursday (February 8) at 5:30 pm, the whole family is invited to a FREE Yoga class with Janice Livingston.Yoga

On Friday (February 9) at 11 am, babies and toddlers can join Miss Alexia for Story Garden. alexia2

Look what we made at our Shadow Story and Craft! We loved learning all about Groundhog Day – and then making these cool shape and shadow crafts. Join us for our next Story and Craft on Friday, February 16th at 11 am.

Join us for a fun free Bilingual (English/Spanish) music program for children and families. Flor Bromley teaches Spanish through music, movement, and puppetry. This is a half-hour program, so please arrive on time – or you’ll miss all the fun!
