We had a huge turnout  for the latest Library Live program: Nature Nick’s Animal Adventures.  And boy, what a treat for all of us!  NickJ1

Nature Nick introduced us to a Chacoan Mara, a Milk Snake,  a Tawny Owl, an Armadillo, a Mata Mata Turtle, a Squirrel Monkey and… NickJ2reva very adorable Grey Kangaroo (who loved hanging out in this cozy pouch!). Wow!

Thanks to Nature Nick for giving us so much information about these animals.  I’m guessing there were a few aspiring zoologists in the audience!

Library Live is sponsored in part by The Rotary Club of Peekskill.

m5What’s the secret to building a sturdy structure?  Are squares stronger than triangles? How important is symmetry?  Come make a marshmallow structure and explore  science and engineering.
