Last month, illustrator Julie Fortenberry came to The Field Library Children’s Room to talk about all the work – and fun – that goes into illustrating a picture book. She spoke to four elementary classes, and read from her new children’s book, Pippa at the Parade (written by Karen Roosa). Ms. Fortenberry told all the illustrator wanna-be’s in the audience to keep drawing and reading. Good advice!
Ribbit and Hello to Froggy and my friends in The Field Library Children’s Room! I’m honored to be pictured in your very first blog post.
